The black duck is similar in size and resembles the female mallard in color. You
can find this beautiful waterfowl dabbling in shallow waters feeding on
plant material and small aquatic freshwater animals, mollusks, and
crustaceans. During the fall and winter the
black duck tends to flock in groups of their own reaching sizes in the
